Mac Mini 4k 60hz Hack

Aug 02, 2011  I just bought a 2018 Mac Mini (3.2Ghz i7) and three 4k monitors (one 32 inch, and two 27 inch). The set up is great, but there is one flaw. 4k is too small! This is a common complaint and while Apple lets you scale them to a more usable size, there must be a lot of graphical interpolation going on as the scaling is not 1:1. Nov 17, 2018  -Try Mac Mini on another 4K monitor with another verified hdmi 2.0 cable: Still getting 4:2:2 on new Mac Mini -Verify colourspace is RGB: check. Finally, check Mac Mini iGP UHD630 specs and verify that the 2018 Mac Mini can actually do 4:4:4 at 4k 60Hz. After reading around I got to the conclusion that the only chance is to start focusing on getting the UHD (4k) resolution on HDMI So, I have ended up connecting the HDMI Output from Mac Mini to the Samsung HDMI input and miniDisplay port from Mac Mini for the secondary monitor that was an usual Full-HD monitor. Please note that I didn’t.
